Gosh, it’s lovely to be noticed isn’t it? So when all the hours and thought and love we put into MoKL is recognised by our bunch of loyal and talented fellow bloggers our hearts swell with pride just a little bit. Feels good.
This month we’re really touched to be nominated for three awards. We’ve been a bit busy in the MoKL Kitchen lately, so firstly, our apologies for just getting round to saying thank you for the nominations to:
Esther at Family Food Forum for the Creative Blogger Award nomination. We love Esther’s calm, sensible and thorough approach to all things nutrition. She also makes a mean peach salad which we’re planning on serving up here soon now that peaches are in season in the UK.
Joann at Joann’s Food for Thought for the Infinity Dreams Award. Joann is always serving up something delicious on her blog pages (serious cravings for her Watermelon Mint Refresher are going on here in the MoKL Kitchen). We’re also grateful to Joann for all her support – she’s always one of the first to click “like”on our blog posts, which feels great.
And thank you to Evgenia from Living on Annette for the Liebster Award. Evgenia’s inspirational blog is aimed at celebrating and bringing together women from all walks of life. Some beautiful words of wisdom there and some amazingly delicious recipes (lots of peaches again – get me to the supermarket!).
We hope you will forgive us for not entering into the full spirit of these awards – things have just been a little hectic of late. Instead, as well as saying thank you and sending our love to the above bloggers, we’d like to share some of the other creative and inspirational blogs we love and admire:
Grace at Eats Amazing – Grace is a Bento box aficionado and not only impresses with some fantastic bento-inspired recipes, but also has an online shop stocked with all kinds of goodies. Grace hosts the What Kids Eat Wednesday linkie.
Ciara at My Fussy Eater – Ciara’s recipes look so delicious, you want to grab them straight off the screen. We’re inspired by her accounts of dealing with her own fussy eater (We’ll be talking to Ciara for an upcoming article so look out for that).
Amy and Lucy from The Two Saving Sisters – we’re always impressed with the savvy and witty take on life from the Two Saving Sisters, whether they’re reviewing clothes, recipes or talking about their travels and adventures with their children. Lucy’s latest post on driving 1000 miles on her own with two kids had us laughing and wincing at the same time.
Kim at Peeled Wellness – Kim loves Mexican food, and that’s enough to get our nomination anytime. Peeled is a fab website packed full of simple, healthy recipes, most of which you can make in minutes. She also hosts the wonderful Tell ‘Em Tuesday linkie.
BreAnna at Crafty Coin – we’re seriously impressed with how thoroughly and relentlessly BreAnna tracks down good food at good prices in an effort to budget and meal plan effectively. We have lots to learn!
Charlotte at Charlotte’s Lively Kitchen – if you want to see some beautiful food photography, then head over to Charlotte’s Lively Kitchen. We’re regularly bowled over by her incredible and “how did she do that” food photos . Charlotte is also very generous about sharing her own experiences as a food blogger. Her monthly reports into growing her traffic and improving her blog are incredibly useful to beginner bloggers.
Thank you again to Esther, Joann and Evgenia for the nominations, and please do check them out as well as the other fantastic bloggers we love. Stay in touch, say hello – we love to hear from you.
